#100happydays – Day Thirty Five

Wow. Hardcore day – to save you the next five minutes of reading.

My PT (Personal Trainer, aka Brett) woke me up at 5:40am to go to the gym. Yuck. For anyone who knows me well, is aware that I am NOT a morning person. Thus, waking up this early is MOST definitely a lifestyle change. But, I can’t complain too much, as right after the gym I got to go to the beach! Ha!

Having said that, I was so very thankful I was able to have some relaxation time at the beach pier, as when I returned back to my “room”… I was officially kicked out. Baggage, toiletries, everything removed. So, the scramble began, as I hadn’t technically found a solid room option yet. But, within a few hours of countless texts, emails, and a couple of phone calls, Brett made it happen. I moved in with a group of awesome girls – all of which are in the same program as Brett, meaning, I know them all by name at this point. In perhaps a strange way, I was and am looking forward to enjoying these next, and last, five days in a too tight, sweaty, humid, and non-stop girly room. Call me crazy, but I miss the backpackers lifestyle.

The afternoon was focused around a seminar that cut me deep to my inner core. The cliff notes: integrity, owning up to past experiences, moving forward, forgiveness of others… Heavy stuff, right? But sometimes, you need a good kick in the butt to remind you that life is good – and thus, you should live and treat it as such.

Tomorrow marks another day for the weekend. Look out beach time with my man!
