A change of pace happened today. I was recruited by the event planning company (RSVP Event Design) to join them in helping execute two weddings at Elkridge near Waskesiu (Prince Albert National Park). I jumped at the opportunity, as this time I wouldn’t just be setting up, taking down, and hanging in the background. This time, I would be assisting my co-worker, Jen, in leading one of the weddings from beginning to end. Speaking with the bride & groom, taking notes for the ceremony, and truly creating a very special day for the two.
We set up all Friday night finishing at 11:30pm in order to allow us time to finalize the last minute details before the ceremony and reception on Saturday.
A romantic event paired with a beautiful couple made for an incredibly lovely day and evening to be apart of.
I mean, take a look at the groomsmen!! Hot tamales!
Off to the reception! I loved how it all turned out. Southern chic with romantic touches.
A late night again spent taking down the event, getting tucked into bed at around the 3:30am mark. Yikes!
Congratulations to Steve & Brittany 🙂 All the best in the future!
Home time tomorrow!
